Following blogs

Another big jump for me.....learning to follow a blog, subscribe in Google reader, some combination of those things. I've subscribed to a class members blog (English Teaching), as required, and I'm excited for another francophile to get onto our class blog roll so I can subscribe to those, too! Another is boots in europe, which is written by a dear friend spending a semester in central Europe. She posts photos, stories, and inspirational bits, and it's fun to see what she sees--especially from my art history background. The last one is Take Out Photo, a photography blog written by one of my former professors. He is a French professor, so he knows (and talks) quite a bit about France and Paris; and he is doing for a profession what I'd like to do, with the addition of photography, which is a talent that has quite escaped me.

Any suggestions of blogs to check out? Bonne journée, mes lapins!

  1. Hey! I'm also a student for the same class and guess what?! French teaching major! Woo hoo! Anyway, so if you want to see my blog, I'm at jessicajohnson123.wordpress.com. But this is my comment I'm doing for the PLN assignment, so I have to share something with you about another blog... so I subscribed to French Word-A-Day. You might like it. http://french-word-a-day.typepad.com/
    Enjoy!

  3. French...got to love that complicated and yet beautiful language!
I am also in the IP&T class, and I have actually subscribed to your blog.
Anyways, for those interesting in the French language or culture, I have found an interesting site:
    http://www.brighthub.com/education/languages/articles/27845.aspx
I am actually following that blog as well, and think that it might be useful for second language acquisition.
By the way, congratulations on your blog!
